Electric Forest Publishing, LLC, was born through a love of literature and the desire to make available to readers the number of deserving books overlooked by the big book mills. Originally an offshoot of the UK’s full-service The Derwent Press, EFP’s new, US-based dark fiction/horror publishing imprint DarkHart Press quickly garnered kudos with its release of Nobody, a collection of eerie isolation-themed short stories penned by members of the Massachusetts-based Essex Writers’ & Artists’ Guild. The anthology went on to win the first-ever Spinetingler’s Book of the Year Award in 2007 in the UK.

Since then, DarkHart Press has grown to include a preeminent list of top-shelf authors, as has Raven’s Wing Books, which specializes in historical, contemporary, and other select fiction genres, and The Derwent Press continues to provide excellent and unparalleled tailoring to those who seek personalized author services in the UK.
