HOW TO START A GROUP CAMP

To start a Group Camp, the Group Leader must purchase a Group Camp Leader Pass ($85 + fees), then distribute their group's unique link to Group Camp Members who wish to join. Once a Group Camp reaches twenty (20) members, all members will be charged ($85 + fees) and the Group Camp will be confirmed.

Note: When a Group hits 20 Group Members, the Group Leader will be refunded the cost of their Pass + fees. If the Group does not hit 20 Group Members before Group Camping sells out (or before the event), Group Members will not be charged, and the Group Leader forfeits the cost of their Pass + fees. Creating a group does not reserve 20 Group Camping Passes, your Group Camp must reach 20 members before Group Camping sells out.

HOW TO JOIN A GROUP CAMP

Do not purchase a Group Camp Leader Pass if you are looking to join a group.

If you are joining a Group Camp, you must purchase a Group Camp Member Pass ($85 + fees) using a unique link sent directly from a Group Camp Leader, or another Group Camp Member.

Note: If you are a Group Camp Leader looking to add to your group and purchase additional Group Camp Member Passes, you will need to clear your browser cache OR utilize a new browser to access Group Camp Member Passes via your unique link. Additionally, you will only be able to purchase up to three (3) Group Camp Member Passes on top of your one (1) Group Leader Pass. Those purchasing Group Camp Member Passes are limited to four (4) passes each.

GROUP CAMPING VEHICLE PASSES

One (1) 4-Day GA Group Camping Vehicle Pass will be provided for every three (3) members of your Group. Vehicle Passes will be sent directly to the Group Camp Leader to distribute. Additional Vehicle Passes are not available and HQ / FEVO are not responsible for how Group Leaders decide to distribute Vehicle Passes.

One (1) 4-Day GA Vehicle Pass is required per vehicle entering the campgrounds. The GA Campgrounds open for entry Thursday at 12:01 AM ET.

GROUP CAMPING EARLY ARRIVAL

GA Group Camp Leaders will receive one (1) GA Wednesday Early Arrival Vehicle Pass rather than a 4-Day GA Vehicle Pass. All other Group Camp Members may purchase GA Wednesday Early Arrival Vehicle Passes if they choose, but additional Vehicle Passes will only grant earlier access, and will not yield space for additional vehicles within the Group Camp.

Tuesday Load-In is not available for Group Camping.

Any person self-identifying as a woman is welcome to join this camp. Spots must be reserved in advance and space is limited, so those who would like to participate are encouraged to sign up early.

In late April, the Women’s Group Camp Host will contact each member via email to coordinate arrival and invite members to Plug In with the community. Please ensure that the email address provided upon Pass purchase is accurate, as this will be used as a primary point of contact.

  • Naming the Group Camp
  • Inviting Group Members by sending them the group link
  • Monitoring the Group Camp to ensure that it reaches the 20 person minimum, and urging members to join in a timely manner
If your Group Camp does not reach 20 members before group camping sells out, the Group Leader will be responsible for:

  • Letting everyone know that you did not get a Group Camp
  • Forfeiting the initial $85 + fees payment as a cancellation fee
  • Note: Only the Group Leader forfeits their initial $85 + fees payment. All other group members will be refunded
If your Group Camp reaches at least 20 members before group camping sells out, the Group Leader will be responsible for:

  • Distributing print-at-home Group Camp Parking Passes to Group Members
  • Using or distributing one (1) complimentary Wednesday Arrival Parking Pass.
  • Distributing remaining standard parking passes. One (1) parking pass will be provided for every three (3) members of your group.
  • Conveying any other information from HQ to Group Members
STEP 2: START A GROUP CAMP

To start a Group Camp, the Group Leader must purchase a Group Camp Leader ticket ($85 + fees). The Group Leader will use the GA Group Camping link above to start the Group Camp when sign up opens. Group Leaders are encouraged to start the Group Camp right when Group Camping goes on sale, as spots will fill up and sell out very quickly.

STEP 3: JOIN A GROUP CAMP

If you are joining a Group Camp, you must purchase a Group Camp Member ticket ($85 + fees) using a unique link sent directly from the Group Camp Leader, or another Group Camp Member.

STEP 4: REACH AT LEAST 20 MEMBERS AND SECURE YOUR GROUP CAMP OR DO NOT REACH 20 MEMBERS AND LOSE YOUR GROUP CAMP

Once a Group Camp reaches twenty (20) members, the Group Camp will be confirmed and the Group Leader’s ticket + fees will be reimbursed. Group Camps have a minimum of 20 members, but more Group Camp Members can be added after you have secured your camp, until camping space is full!

Group Camping space is limited, and Group Members are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Once Group Camping space is full, no further sign ups will be allowed. If a group does not reach twenty (20) members, the Group is canceled and the Group Leader loses their ticket cost ($85 + fees) as cancellation. All other group members will be refunded.
