TWLOHA presents: UNLOCKED

To Write Love on Her Arms and Electric Forest present: Unlocked - an intention setting and community building experience on Main Street.

Making its debut at the festival this year, the Forest Family is invited to stop by the TWLOHA booth to select a unique Key that speaks to you, and hand stamp a key tag with your intention for growth, connection, and change.

Carry it with you throughout the weekend as a reminder and a conversation starter—an invitation to share your story and connect with others on their own journeys.

On Sunday, join your fellow Forest Family in a closing ceremony, where together, we will release the Keys into the base of the Centerpiece Key; symbolizing surrender, trust, and the offering of our intentions back to the greater whole.

What began as an individual hope becomes part of a larger shared story - woven together through memory, presence, and possibility.

Together, Electric Forest and To Write Love on Her Arms have collaborated for 7 years to bring the Forest Family meaningful collaborations on Main Street in the GA Campgrounds, beginning with the Barrier Project.

With the Barrier Project, To Write Love on Her Arms invited the Forest Family to build a wall, painting the words, symbols, and phrases that represented our internal barriers onto it. At the end of the weekend, the wall was broken down piece by piece and distributed to attendees, offered as a token of our intentions for improvement and a reminder that the walls in our lives are not permanent.

Then, for the past three years, instead of breaking down a wall piece by piece, we embarked on building something together, piece by piece. TWHOLA invited us to spend some mindful moments contributing to this larger tapestry. At first, it felt like our contributions were tiny, but we put trust in the growing process. By the end of the weekend, the Forest Family had built a beautiful Mural together.

Now, with Unlocked, join your Forest Family in unlocking interpersonal connections, sparking meaningful conversations, and break through any feelings of isolation that we may have been holding too closely and for too long. And as you return to your various cities, towns, and communities of origin, you may go back just a little lighter, a little more open, harboring a deeper sense of self, and carrying memories of the fertile ground that can make way for beautiful change.

At Electric Forest 2025, End Overdose certified and distributed doses of intranasal naloxone to both Forest Family and Electric Forest staff members. Along with their dose, each person who got certified also received an End Overdose certification card that states the name of the End Overdose trainer, their name, and the date of the training. Throughout the festival, End Overdose had the opportunity to train the Forest Family, vendors, staff, and artists, touching all parts of the Electric Forest community, while raising awareness and education for overdose response.

CAMP GEAR DONATION PROGRAM

In 2024, Electricology launched the Camp Gear Donation program, inviting Forest Family to donate their lightly used camp gear - including tents, sleeping bags, coolers, and more - to a Camp Gear Donation Location where the Electricology team collected for donation.

All acceptable gear was donated back into the local community through youth nature programs Camp Newaygo and Parks in Focus by TrueNorth Community Services, and folks experiencing houselessness through the Community Action House.

HQ is committed to helping divert usable gear from landfills and into community members’ hands, giving a second life to valuable items while supporting sustainability, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of reuse and environmental responsibility.
