The Brainery is a space where the Forest Family comes together to learn from one another collectively. Workshops, classes, and panels cover everything from crafting and EDM line dancing to meditation, breathwork, and artist-led discussions. The Brainery Workshop program seeks passionate minds with engaging ideas to teach fellow Forest Family in interactive ways.
Examples of ideal workshops, presentations, and activities are:
- Craft or simple art classes (beading, collage, etc.)
- Meditation / Sound Healing
- Chanting or singing workshops
- Asana and non-asana yogas
- Active lectures that involve audience participation
- Dance or flow instruction (Shuffling, Line Dancing, Lindy, etc.)
- Comedy workshops
- Workshops that teach skills, games, or other inclusive activities
Activities that will not be accepted are as follows:
- Powerpoint or projection-based lectures
- Political, religious, or legislative advocacy
- Food or drink-based classes
TIMELINE
Submissions will be accepted for review starting January 20, 2026, through March 20, 2026. Follow-up materials may be requested after that time.
SELECTION PROCESS
Judged by: The Electric Forest Plug In Team
Judgment Method: By reviewing and ranking proposals based on:
- 30% Appropriateness for program
- 30% Interactivity
- 30% Uniqueness
- 10% Experience of instructor
AWARD
- Workshop instructors will be awarded one (1) GA Camping Wristband for themselves, up to two (2) GA Camping Wristband for an assistant(s) and one (1) GA Car Pass. Early Arrival passes may be provided depending on workshop schedule
- Vendor Food Vouchers: Winners will receive two (2) Vendor Food Vouchers per day that they teach a workshop
- Workshop Opportunity: Winners will receive at least one (1) opportunity to offer their workshop during Electric Forest 2026
RULES
- The submission process is private. HQ will share only the concept of the final workshops once they have been selected and confirmed
- Limit one workshop per form submission. If an applicant would like to propose more than one workshop, please submit the form multiple times
- The program will require Winners to be present, prepared, accountable for meetings, and their scheduled workshop. Please do not apply if not committed to participating
- Winners must provide their own transport to and from the event
- Winners must provide their own camping supplies
- Workshops may not feature fire, pyrotechnics, food or beverages, drug references, or any dangerous aspects
- Failure to complete paperwork and check-in on site may result in the forfeiture of award
